What’s new for designers, July 2015

In this month’s edition of what’s new for designers and developers, we’ve included lots of design apps, startup resources, photo editing apps, email tools, image resources, icons, PR tools, frameworks, and much more. And as always, we’ve also included some awesome new free fonts!

Almost everything on the list this month is free, with a few high-value paid apps and tools also included. They’re sure to be useful to designers and developers, from beginners to experts.

Basscss

Relay

Foundry is a collection of vector assets for designing mobile apps and other interactive designs. It includes a variety of images, from browser chrome to everyday objects, any or all of which can be downloaded.

Thankbot

Thankbot helps you get more business by delivering handwritten thank you notes. Each note comes on a 4×6 card and can include up to 50 words, with discounts for higher volume orders.

Square Payroll

Square Payroll is payroll designed for hourly employees that includes fully integrated timecards. Webdesigner News is a news aggregator that lets you see the latest news in the design world, as well as check out the most voted, most shared, and most clicked. You can even sign up for an account to save your favorites.

Arte

Arte is a simple sans serif typeface with varying stroke widths.

Flow

Flow is a free font with a whimsical, organic style.

Turnstyle

Turnstyle is a lowercase font that has a circular shape with some square corners.

Project Seen

Wacamoler Caps

Wacamoler Caps is a small cap typeface that’s inspired by movie typography. It includes extended Latin characters and the Greek alphabet.
