Free download: 30 flat shopping icons

Tired of the same old flat design? Everywhere you look there are people offering up flat icons; some are fabulous, but far too many are derivative. Occasionally you come across a set of icons that tries to push the boundaries of the established flat design mold.

Case in point: the 30 flat shopping featured here have a clear flat aesthetic, but these free e-commerce icons use a gloss-like two tone background and some subtle drop shadows.

Each rounded hexagon features an inner shadow that subtly adds depth; some icons — like the chart icon — look bevelled as a result, others — like the Visa icon — are reminiscent of old-school pre-digital cash registers. The icon designs themselves are simple variations on the other presently popular style, the low-poly look.

These fantastic shopping icons are flat enough to be used in flat designs, lo-fi enough to work with low-poly designs and feature enough 3D detail to work with even skeuomorphic designs. Included in the file below are PNG versions and a master PSD file.
