Adobe is looking for designers to test Project Oasis, a mysterious web-based graphic design app that combines a “modern workspace” with brand-aware AI. And if you’re curious, you can apply to get inside.
Better still, Adobe is currently inviting designers to apply for early access.
Who can get in?
Adobe is looking for agency, freelance, and in-house designers who regularly work on brand identity and marketing projects. It’s particularly interested in designers who use Illustrator, Figma, or similar tools every day.
If selected, you’ll get hands-on access to Oasis before its public launch, direct contact with the team building it, and access to a private channel with other testers. Adobe says participants’ feedback will help influence what eventually ships.
There is, naturally, an NDA. So if you do get in, don’t expect to immediately become everyone’s favorite source of Project Oasis screenshots.
But what exactly is Project Oasis?
That’s where things get interesting: Adobe isn’t telling us much else.
We know it’s browser-based. We know it’s intended for professional graphic design. And we know Adobe is emphasizing branding, marketing, and AI that understands a brand.
It’s tempting to start throwing around comparisons to Figma or Canva, but there simply isn’t enough public information yet to know where Oasis fits. Adobe hasn’t publicly revealed a detailed feature list, screenshots, pricing, or a launch date. For now, the mystery is half the fun.
You can apply now
The current testing phase opened around the week of August 31 and runs through Adobe MAX, which takes place November 10–12. Adobe is directing interested designers to a short survey to apply for the program.
So rather than waiting for someone to leak what Oasis actually does, you could try getting inside yourself.
If you fit the profile and don’t mind keeping your mouth shut about what you see, you can throw your name into the hat.
