It’s tricky to find a good set of icons, most packs have one or two useful graphics and then a lot of filler. So it’s refreshing to discover an approach like the one used by Icons8; every day they check the most requested icons from their community, design the three most popular and add them to their collection. It’s a great way of ensuring that their icons are relevent to their users.
Icons8 have also generously designed this set of 53 sports icons, exclusively for WebdesignerDepot readers. They come as EPS and SVG vectors, so you can be sure they’ll scale to whatever size you need them to.
Amongst our favourites are the dynamic canoeist digging deep into the water; the anatomy icons, especially the lungs and abs; and the lovingly detailed climbing gear.
Icons8 make a range of different icons, from the popular iOS7 style with over 1200 icons, to the Windows 8 icon pack with over 1600 icons. There’s a new Android icon pack and their brand new app, allowing you to search for icons and drag and drop straight into applications like Photoshop is available now for Mac and Windows.
